As a part-time legislator I rely on interns and volunteers to keep up with my grassroots campaign. They also help me stay current on all the newest trends and memes.
I rely on interns and volunteers to write emails, manage social media, create events, and track legislation while in session. They are vital to my campaign.
I also have a commitment to growing young talent and inspiring the next generation of leaders to put hope in action. I also know that they deserve to be paid for their time.
I give each of my interns either hourly pay of $20 or summer stipends between $500-$1000.
By chipping in what you can, whether it’s $23 or $200, you’ll be helping maintain a grassroots campaign and develop the talent of the future of politics.
