Central Valley Matters is a coalition of organizations in California working to activate the electorate in CD 22. Significant change takes time, money, and perseverance. During 2023, we are funding our well-vetted grassroots organizations which civically engage the disenfranchised parts of the communities where they live and work.

Community Water Center, our newest group, works on voter education and turn-out in local Tulare elections by engaging in door-to-door issue-based organizing related to groundwater quality and quantity. 501(c)(3) tax-deductible.

Delano Guardians is a volunteer organization working since 2013 in northern Kern County. They work to educate, empower, and engage voters. Their fiscal sponsor is Center on Race, Poverty, & the Environment, a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible group.

Dolores Huerta Action Fund is a community benefit organization working at the grassroots level to engage and develop natural leaders and a strong base of volunteers. 501(c)(4) non tax-deductible group

Valley Voices works to increase civic engagement and voter education, specifically with new voters including young and recently naturalized citizens, often in Spanish. 501(c)(3) tax-deductible.
