Neighbors, vecinos — the time is now.
For too long, the people who built Ward 1 — working families, single mothers, longtime neighbors — have been pushed out of decisions about housing, safety, and the future of our communities.
I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it. And I’ve spent my career showing up, block by block, to make sure our families are seen, heard, and served.
From arriving in D.C. as a young immigrant to leading major District agencies, I’ve fought to expand opportunity, deliver real services, and make government work for our people — not just talk about it.
Now I’m ready to fight for Ward 1: for truly affordable housing,
for small businesses to survive and grow,
and for a government that shows up for you every single day.
This campaign is people-powered.
I’m proud to be part of the D.C. Fair Elections Program — limiting donations to $50 — because this movement belongs to our community.
Let’s make history together.
Because when I fight, I fight for all of us.
¡Mil gracias — siempre con el corazón! 💛
