The Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund has endorsed Jack Patrick Lewis for election as 7th Middlesex State Senator, a credit to his commitment to the environment and climate action. Issues of environmental justice, public health, transportation, and energy policy are inextricably linked. Because of this, we need leaders at every level of government who will call for ambitious action.
“Jack Patrick Lewis has been a thoughtful voice on transportation policy in the Massachusetts
House,” said Casey Bowers, Executive Director of the Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund. “He has supported efforts to strengthen transit infrastructure and ensure investments better reflect the Commonwealth’s climate goals.”
Jack Patrick Lewis currently serves as State Representative for the 7th Middlesex District, a position he has held since 2016. Over the past decade in the Legislature, Lewis has been a strong advocate for progressive policies, including animal welfare, youth health and wellness, mental health services, and environmental justice.
As the recent Co-Chair of the House Progressive Caucus, Lewis has championed clean energy and conservation priorities, and has been a strong advocate for a modernized transportation system.
