Jacqueline Monterroso, Vice Chair of the Revere School Committee, is running for a second term as a Ward 1 School Committee Member. Jacqueline, the first Latina ever elected in Revere, MA and the first freshmen member elected twice by her colleagues to serve as the Vice Chair, brings the bold and courageous leadership and representation Revere students, families, and educators deserve. Jacqueline is a former public school kindergarten teacher and currently works as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at Latinos for Education. With a track record of city and statewide policy successes, Jacqueline has proven to be an experienced leader who works to ensure all students have access to college and career readiness, to develop strong recruitment and retention systems for educators, and to increase family communication and involvement.
