Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions to Jake Johnson Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
For contributions made through the day of the Minnesota primary election, the first $7,000/$10,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate committee be allocated to the Jake Johnson for Congress. The first $3,500/$5,000 of a person’s/multicandidate committee’s contribution will be considered designated for the primary election; the second $3,500/$5,000 will be considered designated for the general election. The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $5,000 from a multicandidate committee will be allocated to the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party.
For contributions made after the Minnesota primary election through the day of the Minnesota general election, the first $3,500/$5,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate committee will be allocated to the Jake Johnson for Congress and will be considered designated for the general election. The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $5,000 from a
multicandidate will be allocated to the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party.
Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting chris.kluthe@gmail.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
