Jake Hunter For Charter Commission District 4 Position 3

Pierce County deserves a government that is accountable, transparent, and truly representative. I’m running for the Charter Review Commission to ensure elected officials follow the will of the voters—and to strengthen our charter so government works for everyone.

As a tax professional and small business owner, I help people navigate complex systems and advocate for fairness every day. I bring that same commitment to public service, equity, and accountability to this role.

This commission is our opportunity to improve how we are governed:

• by securing better representation,

• reinforcing checks and balances, and

• ensuring the charter reflects the needs of today’s Pierce County.

I’m running because I believe in a government that listens, adapts, and delivers. That starts with a charter rooted in community values—not outdated power structures.

I’m proud to be endorsed by County Executive Ryan Mello, Port Commissioner Kristin Ang, and County Councilmember Robyn Denson.
