Jewish Action for Los Angeles builds power with Jewish Angelenos committed to creating a just, thriving LA County where all people can live in dignity, prosperity, and safety.

In 2026, we have big plans for our advocacy and candidate engagement work. If you’re excited about what’s ahead, we hope you’ll consider a year-end contribution to help us grow this work. 

Organizing LA Jews to advocate for immigrants and community safety

In the coming year, our advocacy program will focus on where we can have the greatest impact in standing up for community safety through solidarity: supporting immigrant Angelenos and combating antisemitism while fighting the weaponization of antisemitism allegations to undermine our democracy.

We’ll continue building strong coalitions, mobilizing volunteers in moments of need, offering political education, and showing up consistently in solidarity with impacted communities. 

Connecting progressive candidates to the Jewish community

We’ll deepen our engagement with the leaders who shape Los Angeles: we’ll create and offer new resources to candidates and elected officials to better understand the diversity of the LA Jewish community; we’ll expand our outreach and relationship building with civic leaders and, we’ll launch our endorsement program to ensure that the values and priorities of our community are part of the political conversations that shape LA’s future.

Contributions help us build independent political power through a social welfare nonprofit and therefore are NOT tax-deductible.

The IRS doesn't allow tax-deductions for donations to 501c4-type nonprofit organizations like ours because we can spend unlimited resources on lobbying elected officials and are also allowed to endorse candidates for office.
