A 6th generation Missourian, I believe in doing what's right, standing up for my neighbors, and fighting for all Missourians, regardless of their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or socio-economic status.

Like many Missourians, I grew up in rural Missouri watching my parents often working 80-90 or more hours a week just to make ends meet. I am committed to supporting policies that fund quality education, public services that uplift our communities, affordable childcare, healthcare and housing.

As a veteran of the Missouri Army National Guard, I believe in placing service to the people of Missouri over politics. I know that we must fight to protect the rights and dignity of every person. I believe that we have a responsibility to ensure that every individual in our community has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive.

As a former law enforcement officer, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and talk to people from a multitude of different backgrounds, and with different personal histories within our state’s legal system. I was able to see both the successes and failures of our system. It allowed me the opportunity to hear the real issues Missourian’s face and the long term struggles it causes. No one should have to choose between paying for medical care and putting food on the table or repairing their sole means of transportation. No one should have to live in substandard housing simply because they cannot afford anything better.

I believe in a patient’s right to make their own healthcare decisions without government intrusion, including a woman’s right to life-saving medical care.

I believe that small businesses are vital for economic growth and job creation, but they often face obstacles due to unfair tax policies that favor large corporations such as a zero percent tax rate. I advocate for fair taxes to keep more money in the pockets of working-class Missourians, support small businesses and stimulate economic growth.

I believe that we can build a better future for all of us, and our next generations. But we can only do that if we work together. I will fight for the policies and programs that will help us build a stronger, more prosperous state for years to come.
