Contribution rules

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  4. I understand that by ordinance of the City of Chicago, no lobbyist registered with the Board of Ethics, or person who has done business with City within the preceding four reporting years, or person who is seeking to do business with the City, shall contribute over $1,500 during a calendar year. This includes persons doing or seeking to do business with the: City of Chicago, Chicago Transit Authority, Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Chicago City Colleges, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, or Public Building Commission.
Contributions to political candidates are not deductible for federal tax purposes. Paid for and authorized by Friends of Maggie O'Keefe. Illinois law requires political committees to report the names of individuals whole contributions exceed $150 in a calendar year and the occupation and employer of individuals who's contributions exceed $500 in a calendar year. A copy of the report is filed with the state board of elections.
