Elizabeth Guzmán immigrated from Peru, worked three jobs to support her family, and made history as one of the first Latinas elected to Virginia’s General Assembly. She’s fought to stop toxic gold mining that threatens our rivers, pushed to hold polluters accountable and declare climate change an emergency, and championed clean energy investments in working-class communities. She knows that climate change hits frontline families first and will make sure Virginia’s future is powered by people, not corporate greed.
