Janet Dudding for Texas

The corruption in Texas politics is like nothing I have ever seen - and I've seen a lot. Here in Texas, billionaires just haul off and buy themselves a politician - in the wide open - and the politician pockets the money and puts the billionaire’s dole on the regular taxpayer's tab. Makes me mad enough to run for office … and that's what I'm doing. I'm running to be your Texas State House Representative for House District 14.

I'm running against the PRIVATE SCHOOL BOARD CHAIRMAN that Governor Abbott bought us last cycle to be our State House Rep to help pass Abbott's private school voucher bill. Now, see, self-dealing is one of the definitions of corruption. If this man was Chairman of an ISD Board of Trustees, he'd be ineligible to serve in the House. We can do better than this. We deserve better than that.

I've been a CPA auditing governments and governmental officials for over half my life. I do not like paying taxes - and when that money is wasted, it pisses me off. When corruption comes into play - I really see red.

This run will be uphill all the way. After all, Governor Abbott pocketed $6MILLION from an out of state billionaire who wanted vouchers and then funneled a couple of $hundred thousand to his man hand-picked to represent us here in HD14 and get Abbott those private school vouchers for his donor.

I know money's tight - especially right now with Trump's tariffs still doing a number on small businesses and grocery prices plus the uncertainty over - everything Trump touches. And on top of all that, Abbott’s squandering our hard-earned tax dollars. Regular people've got needs. Let's keep the American Dream within reach!

Here in HD14, we are the home of award-winning public schools. We are the home of Texas A&M University where Aggie values are more than just words on the MSC building.

Please donate now to help launch this campaign to send me to Austin to represent YOU and bring ethics back into the Texas Capital. Let's do this!
