Mikal Goodman

2nd Annual Jazz Night At The Crofoot

Hello Friends,

I am deeply honored to serve as your City Councilman, fighting every day for the causes that matter most to the people of Pontiac. Together, we have delivered real results for working families—from standing up to slumlords and expanding tenant protections to investing in road repairs and community safety. Our movement has brought real change, but there is still so much more to do.

From the start, our mission has been crystal clear: every resident of Pontiac deserves affordable and dignified housing, reliable infrastructure, transparent leadership, and a government that puts people first. We’ve made strides—like securing new investments in public spaces and holding negligent landlords accountable—but our work is far from over.

With our election just around the corner, your support is more important than ever. We’re building a movement rooted in action, not empty promises.

That’s why I’m inviting you to join me for a special event—the 2nd Annual Jazz Night at The Crofoot! It will be an unforgettable evening featuring delicious soul food from MKC Soul Food, and an intimate performance by The Blue Jazz Working Group!

We’ll also be joined by very special guest speakers who are fighting for working families at the state and national levels—you won’t want to miss it!

Come for the vibe, stay for the movement. Together, we will keep building a brighter, bolder future for Pontiac.

In solidarity,

Comrade Councilman for District 3, Mikal Goodman
