In 2008, there was a random shooting during worship at my brother's church that left two people dead and a community terrorized. A few month's later, I was held up at gun point. In the face of those events, I worked to heal psychologically. But I also did what the majority of Americans do when it comes to saving lives from gun violence: NOTHING. All that changed for me in the face of the Sandy Hook tragedy. Since then I've become involved in the work of Mom's Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. I've become attuned to the murders of too many young men and women in Baltimore and in my own county of Prince George's, MD. I've joined with hundreds of thousands of people who are going to #KeepGoing until we turn the tide on the epidemic of gun violence in our country. Will you support us?
