Rebecca Bennett is a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and test pilot, officer in the Air National Guard, and business leader. Following her military service, Bennett got her M.B.A. and worked in healthcare to increase access to care, improve patients’ outcomes, and decrease costs for patients. She is committed to defending the Constitution and protecting the rights and freedoms it grants every citizen through protecting LGBTQ+ rights, restoring a women’s right to choose at the federal level, and holding the current administration accountable for ignoring judicial orders. She believes “Israel has a right to defend itself and has a right to exist, and that the United States needs to be able to support Israel, and it shouldn’t be partisan.” Bennett is running against incumbent Tom Kean Jr., who has been absent from Congress since early March due to a medical reason he kept undisclosed for an extended period.
