Kathy Castor (FL-14)
Rep. Castor began her legal career in environmental law, helping protect Florida's coastline by enforcing environmental and growth management laws. Over her 13 years in the House, Rep. Castor has delivered for Tampa Bay families by strengthening the local economy, securing grants and investments that create good-paying jobs, and fighting to improve the quality of life throughout the region. She has secured over $635 million through infrastructure investments and community projects. Castor worked to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and led bipartisan bills to improve healthcare for our nation’s sickest kids, including by expanding access to life-saving treatments for cancer and other rare diseases. Castor has been outspoken in her fight against antisemitism and has shown her support for Israel by voting against the Massie Amendment. Rep. Castor will continue to fight for a diverse and strong Tampa Bay economy that keeps costs for families in check, and keeps health care and energy affordable.
