Paige Cognetti (PA-08)

Paige Cognetti is the current Mayor of Scranton, PA, and the first woman to hold the position. She has taken on special interests and fought for reform, leading to budget surpluses, and in 2022, she led Scranton out of a 30-year period of distressed financial status. Cognetti’s campaign focuses on fighting for families by breaking up monopolies and supporting small businesses, strengthening unions, reforming health insurance, auditing the federal government, banning Congressional stock trading, and restoring manufacturing jobs. Cognetti is outspoken against antisemitism, and if elected, she wants to be part of a coalition that passes legislation addressing it.
