Sen. Chris Coons (DE)

Senator Chris Coons was elected to represent Delaware in the Senate in 2010. He has established himself as a leader in the Democratic Party and as a model of bipartisanship in the Senate. He is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Judiciary Committees. Additionally, Senator Coons sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Senate Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee, and the Select Committee on Ethics. He is passionate about civil rights and believes our Constitution contains critical protections that form the foundation of our society, and we must continue to protect our democracy. Senator Coons is a friend of the Jewish community and Israel, standing strongly in opposition to BDS and in support of a two-state solution, as well being a strong voice against antisemitism. JDCA endorsed Senator Coons in 2020.
