

Rep. Madeleine Dean was first elected to Congress in 2018. Prior, she was a member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Her priorities include healthcare, the economy, infrastructure, and reproductive rights. She has supported several pieces of pro-Israel legislation, including bills to advance normalization with Arab states and condemning BDS and Israeli annexation and settlements while reaffirming U.S. support for a two-state solution. After October 7, Rep. Dean called for a bilateral ceasefire with the release of hostages, spoke out against the sexual violence on October 7, and met with families of hostages held by Hamas. JDCA endorsed Rep. Dean in 2020, 2022, and 2024.
