Rep. April McClain Delaney (MD-06)

Rep. April McClain Delaney was elected to Congress in 2024. Prior, she served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information in President Biden’s Department of Commerce. She was also Washington Director of the nonprofit Common Sense Media for 15 years. Her campaign focused on her desire to leverage technology to drive economic development and defending our democracy. Rep. McClain Delaney’s priorities in Congress include protecting wildlife, agricultural conservation, and uplifting small businesses. She currently sits on the House Agriculture Committee and the Science, Space and Technology Committee. Rep. McClain Delaney condemns the “deadly terror attack” on Israel by Hamas and is an unwavering supporter of Israel’s right to defend itself. JDCA endorsed Rep. McClain Delaney in 2024.
