
Rep. Sarah Elfreth was elected to Congress in 2024. She was the youngest woman ever elected to the Maryland Senate, having represented the 30th District from 2019 to 2024. Prior to her political career, Elfreth served as the Director of Government Affairs of the National Aquarium and as Director of University Projects for Margrave Strategies, focusing on economic development in university towns. In her five years in the Maryland Senate, she worked to pass 84 bills, all of which had bipartisan support. Rep. Elfreth’s key issues include strengthening public schools, protecting the environment, supporting small businesses, and safeguarding reproductive freedom.
