Rep. Laura Friedman (CA-30)

Rep. Laura Friedman was first elected to Congress in 2024. Prior, she was a State Assembly member and former Glendale Mayor. Throughout her career, she has authored legislation to expand affordable housing, combat climate change, and strengthen the healthcare system. In Congress, she is a key advocate for affordable housing, access to clean water, gun control, reproductive rights, and workers’ rights. The district encompasses Burbank, Glendale, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Edendale, Tujunga, and part of Pasadena. JDCA endorsed Rep. Friedman in 2024.
