Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05)

Rep. Josh Gottheimer was first elected to Congress in 2015, unseating a Republican. While in Congress, he has distinguished himself as a bipartisan leader who believes in working together across party lines to find common ground to get things done. His priorities in Congress include defending Israel, lowering taxes, securing affordable healthcare, and protecting the environment. Since October 7, he has been a leading voice in advocating for the defeat of Hamas and calling for the return of hostages. JDCA endorsed Rep. Gottheimer in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024.
