Adam Hamilton (KS-Sen)

Adam Hamilton is a pastor and fifth-generation Kansan. He brings people together through his church, the largest United Methodist congregation in the United States, with roughly 24,000 members and nearly equal parts Republicans, Democrats, and independents. Under Hamilton’s leadership, the church has given away tens of millions of dollars to support local schools, children in need, and set up food pantries in food deserts. His campaign focuses on domestic issues such as protecting Kansans from rising energy bills and providing more affordable housing and healthcare. He also plans to target government corruption, strengthen small businesses, and protect Kansas consumers. Hamilton believes Israel has the legitimate right to exist as a Jewish state whose citizens have a right to live in safety and security and that the US is committed to Israel’s defense as we are with other allies. He also supports continuing to provide defensive systems that protect Israeli civilians, though he does not support supplying weapons that will be used offensively. He believes Palestinians should be able to live in the West Bank free of harassment, and he supports a two-state solution.
