Rep. Josh Harder was first elected to Congress in 2018. He was inspired to run to protect healthcare coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, like his adopted brother. Prior to serving in Congress, he worked at Bessemer Venture Partners and as a course instructor. His priorities include lowering prices, fighting for affordable healthcare, and combating homelessness. He takes a particular interest in supply chains, and he led a bipartisan effort to improve trucking regulations to make it a more desirable profession. JDCA endorsed Rep. Harder in 2020, 2022, and 2024. He has represented California's 9th Congressional District since 2023, and previously represented California’s 10th District.
