Rep. Glenn Ivey (MD-04)

Representative Glenn Ivey was elected to Congress in 2022. Prior, he served two terms as the Prince George's County Attorney. Rep. Ivey is passionate about the power of public service, and as state attorney, he established the first-ever Domestic Violence Prevention Unit and a mortgage fraud unit to fight for homeowners who lost out when the real estate market suffered. Rep. Ivey is an advocate for gun safety, reproductive rights, criminal justice reform, education, and environmental protection. He is especially adamant about social justice reform, focusing on race and health equity. In Congress, Rep. Ivey advocates for working families and their safety, and he regularly organizes media and roundtable events in order to engage and inform the public about gun violence issues. Rep. Ivey is a member of the New Democrat Coalition. JDCA endorsed Rep. Ivey in 2022 and 2024.
