Rep. John “Johnny O” Olszewski (MD-02)

Rep. Olszewski was elected to Congress in 2024. Known as Johnny O, Rep. Olszewski is a former public school teacher and Baltimore County Executive born and raised in Baltimore County. His experience teaching inspired him to run for public office. As County Executive, he took action to combat gun violence, close an $81 million budget deficit, and raise teacher pay. His priorities in Congress include reproductive freedom, democracy and voting rights, and government accountability. He strongly opposes antisemitism, extremism, and white nationalism. JDCA endorsed Rep. Olszewski in 2024.
