Rep. Rob Menendez (NJ-08)

Rep. Rob Menendez was born and raised in Hudson County and has represented New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District since 2022. He represents his diverse district with the values of respect and tolerance, hard work, New Jersey common sense, and the unshakeable idea that everyone should have the opportunity and tools to succeed. Prior to serving in Congress, he served as Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where he assisted in the completion of several critical infrastructure projects, including some of the Port Authority's largest investments benefiting New Jersey commuters. He has also worked as an attorney in finance and technology spaces. His legislative priorities include affordable housing, combating gun violence, tackling climate change, and investing in transit and transportation infrastructure. JDCA endorsed Rep. Menendez in 2024.
