Rep. Frank Mrvan was born and raised in Hammond, IN, and was first elected to Congress in 2020. Prior, he served as the North Township Trustee for 15 years and worked as a sales representative and mortgage broker. In Congress, he has focused on strengthening the economy through labor and manufacturing policy, lowering healthcare costs, and supporting public education. He urged Congress to pass the emergency supplemental funding for Israel and Ukraine to “protect our freedoms and democracy.” Rep. Mrvan will continue to fight to protect access to reproductive healthcare, grow the regional economy by advocating for good-paying jobs, and protect the steel industry from bad actors around the globe. JDCA endorsed Rep. Mrvan in 2024.
