
Congressman Kevin Mullin was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022. He began his public service as a South San Francisco City Councilmember and Mayor, before being elected to the California State Assembly, where he served as Speaker pro Tempore. In the California Assembly, he authored more than 60 bills that were signed into law, including landmark legislation pioneering all vote-by-mail elections and combating dark money in state campaigns. Expanding access to the ballot box and strengthening our democracy were Rep. Mullin’s top priorities in the Assembly. In Congress, Rep. Mullin continues to defend our democracy from those who ignore the will of the people and the rule of law. JDCA endorsed Rep. Mullin in 2024.
