Brian Poindexter (OH-07)

Brian Poindexter is a proud union member, ironworker apprenticeship instructor, and previous At-Large member of the Brook Park City Council. Poindexter’s family has a long history of union involvement and steadfast advocacy for working families. In his role on the Brook Park City Council, Poindexter opposed “Right to Work” laws and school choice vouchers and supported the postal system and public schools. His campaign prioritizes addressing the cost of living, strengthening workers’ rights, investing in healthcare, and promoting American corporations. In November, Poindexter will face incumbent Republican Rep. Max Miller, who has refused to drop out of the House race amid allegations of domestic violence, including a strong condemnation from his former father-in-law, Sen. Bernie Moreno (OH).
