Sherrod Brown served as a U.S. senator from Ohio from 2007 to 2025. Prior to his service in the Senate, he represented Ohio for 14 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. During his tenure in the Senate, he chaired the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. Throughout his career, Sherrod Brown has been a leading advocate for labor and workers’ rights and affordable healthcare. After narrowly losing reelection in 2024, he is once again running for the Senate in 2026 to continue fighting to strengthen the middle class and ensure economic opportunity for all. Sen. Brown is a good friend of JDCA and the Jewish community in Ohio, and we are proud to have endorsed him in 2018, 2024, and for the upcoming 2026 Senate race.
