James Talarico is an eighth-generation Texan, former middle school teacher, and Presbyterian seminarian. A state representative since 2019, he led 16 bills that were signed into law, many of which focused on education, childcare, or youth workforce development. Now, he’s running for Senate to take his fight against corruption to Washington and win power back for working people. His priorities include taking on corruption and money in politics, lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs, improving public education, and more. Talarico has a longstanding record of combating antisemitism, defending Jewish students on the floor of the Texas House, and supporting Israel’s right to exist. We are proud to endorse Talarico in his fight to flip this Texas Senate seat blue.
