

Representative Dina Titus was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2008. She joined Congress after teaching government at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for 34 years. Additionally, she was the Senate Minority Leader in the state legislature from 1993 to 2008. Rep. Titus has devoted her life to education, both as a teacher and in her work in Congress. Titus has also emerged as a prominent voice against gun violence. She supports comprehensive immigration reform, protecting persons with disabilities, and expanding protections for seniors. She sits on the House Appropriations Committee and the Subcommittee on Defense. Rep. Titus is a supporter of Israel and a two-state solution. JDCA endorsed Rep. Titus in 2022 and 2024.
