In Congress, he has introduced legislation to reduce gun violence and uphold democracy. Rep. Torres introduced the Antisemitism Inclusion in DEI Act to require companies to combat antisemitism and advocated for federal action to combat antisemitism on college campuses. He supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and is opposed to conditioning aid to Israel. He was a cosponsor of H. Res. 771, Standing with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists. JDCA endorsed Rep. Torres in 2020 and 2024.
