Scott Wiener (CA-11)
CA State Senator Scott Wiener has spent nearly 28 years in political office, from serving as the Deputy San Francisco City Attorney to his current role in the CA Senate. In this last session alone, Wiener introduced over 56 bills, 24 of which became law. Many of the laws Wiener has championed address transportation concerns, housing security, and the protection of LGBTQIA+ youth from Republican attacks. His campaign priorities include universal healthcare, decreasing housing insecurity, and protecting reproductive rights. As a Jew whose family members fled anti-Jewish violence in Eastern Europe, Wiener deeply believes in Israel’s critical importance to Jews globally and that Israelis and Palestinians must co-exist side by side in peace.
