What We’re Doing Now and Why We Need Your Support
We are reorganizing and revitalizing our Jeff Davis County Democratic Party. We have selected a new county chair and a county executive committee, with new precinct chairs for all five Jeff Davis County precincts. Our party has adopted a new set of by-laws, approved a 2026 budget, and scheduled regular monthly meetings.
Our party is actively focusing on state and local issues and candidates. We are organizing Volunteer Teams to make a difference on issues such as education and teacher pay, immigration, and reproductive rights. Our volunteers are registering new voters; providing voters with reliable information on elections, candidates, and local and state issues; purchasing and distributing candidate yard signs, and communicating voting information to voters throughout our county..
