About Hydrate Detroit:

Hydrate Detroit is a 501(C)3 water relief organization providing emergency water, consultation, advocacy and restoration of water services to families in the city of Detroit with their water shutoff. Hydrate Detroit also has educational workshops and seminars to educate people about the Detroit water crisis and host many events and community activities.


The Hydrate Detroit #SHAREWATER program is aimed at helping Detroiters restore and maintain access to clean running water. here are four easy steps to participate in volunteering:


  1. Donate cases, gallons and jugs of water to local Hydrate Detroit water hubs for families to pick up emergency water.
  2. Donate charitable resources to the Hydrate Detroit Water Affordability Fund by restoring water for a local family paying for a new down payment arrangement with the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.
  3. Volunteer with Hydrate Detroit to become a local water ambassador for your community, help deliver water or become a water advocate for those needing a voice.
  4. Accept the challenge to organize a #SHAREWATER event in your community by rounding together a group taking the pledge to be a Hydrate Detroit Sharewater partner.
  5. Organize volunteer plumbers and water pipe fixers to help seniors and low income families by providing inspection and repair of plumbing infastructure needs.

Entrants must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail or telephone account from which the entry is made. You may enter once during the contest period. Multiple entries received from any person or e-mail address or telephone number will void all such additional entries. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. All entries become the property of the Hydrate Detroit and will not be acknowledged or returned. By checking the relevant box or selection in the registration form, entrants agree that Hydrate may contact the entrant via email with information about pre-selected goods or services. If you do not wish to receive these materials do not check the relevant box in the entry form. If at any time you do not wish to receive these materials in the future, please use the unsubscribe procedures contained in the email message.

Hydrate will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Any entries found to be lewd, bias, sexual, racist, bigoted, prejudicial, or harassing will be void, causing for the entrant to be disqualified and triggering further action as the Hydrate deems necessary. Hydrate will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements.


· Selection of Winners. One potential winner will be randomly selected from all entries. Contest winner must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, publicity release and/or prize acceptance form within ten (10) days of winning or being notified of winning (sooner for time sensitive prizes), or prize(s) will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return any required affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, publicity release and/or prize acceptance form within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the prize. Hydrate reserves the right to contact all contest entrants to confirm the registration entry. The official registration list will remain the property of Hydrate and will not be distributed without the specific approval of the contest entrant through the use of the Opt In check box on the registration form.


· Prize. One winner will receive a Email Mobile Ticket for Four reserved general admission tickets for Friday June 17, 2022. Each ticket is valued at $75. Total prize value is $195. Prize will be sent to the registered email address of the contestant) on Wednesday June 15, 2022 between 11am and 2pm. If the winner of a contest is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must claim the prize. Winners may be asked to show a photo ID. There will be no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes under any circumstances.
