Goal thermometer

Hey guys!

Fighting for gay rights are my number one passion. I even changed my major from Chemistry to Sociology with a double major in Psychology and Gender Studies. I want to work for non-profit organizations and be an activist.

When I heard about Proposition 1 in Maine, my heart sank for a minute. Then I found the volunteer vacation in Maine and I immediately filled out the form. This is a dream come true for me. I am just getting started in activism and to be apart of something this important means the world to be. When I received the email welcoming me to the team, I actually cried. I can't wait to start fighting in Maine.

Now I just need some help with finances. You know how hard college is on people. My plane ticket is $208. I also need help with the cost of a rental car. We are going to pair up but the cost is still there. My goal is $300. I want to thank EVERYONE for their support. Weather it is in donations or warm wishes.

I want to leave you with a quote. "In an expanding universe, time is on the side of the outcast. Those who once inhabited the suburbs of human contempt find that without changing their address they eventually live in the metropolis." -Quentin Crisp This can only happen if we fight. Start here! Fight for marriage equality in Maine!
