Rev. Raphael Warnock - GA

Senator Rev. Warnock grew up in public housing in Savannah and went on to enroll at Morehouse College, not knowing how he would pay the full tuition. With the aid of low-interest student loans and Pell Grants, he graduated, earned a Ph.D., and was ordained in the ministry. In 2005, he began serving as Ebenezer Baptist Church’s youngest pastor ever, preaching from the former pulpit of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Senator Warnock deeply understands the need to expand health care coverage to millions more Georgians and the value of earning a living wage. As a Senator, Rev. Warnock has fought for high quality, affordable healthcare, the dignity of working people, and ensuring every voice is heard as we seek to build a country where every person can live and thrive.
