Help JanePAC Climate Champ Dr. Shirley Weber Win in California

There’s a lot to love about California Secretary of State Dr. Shirley Weber — like her civil rights advocacy, her 93% lifetime score from California Environmental Voters, and her 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 approach to leadership. 

But the thing we cherish most about Dr. Weber is her deep belief that 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘹 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦.

We all know there’s no fight for our planet if we lose our democracy, and right now, Dr. Weber is busy fortifying California’s election infrastructure to fight Trump’s fascist attacks on the 2026 Midterms — focusing on trust, accessibility, and transparency. 

Dr. Weber believes in transparency around how Big Oil and Big Industry's money makes its way into our elections, and — as an assemblymember — she co-authored the California Green New Deal in 2020.

While her role as Secretary of State isn’t directly linked to climate policy, it's important to remember that putting people who “get it” in positions of power means infusing climate consciousness into the halls of government and in this case, directly into our democratic infrastructure.
