Pennsylvania is the second largest producer of methane gas in the U.S. — that means what happens in PA matters to our nation, and our planet.
The Keystone State has potential to lead the way on clean energy and environmental justice, but a gridlocked legislature poses a major threat to climate progress. Right now, Democrats have just a one-seat advantage in Pennsylvania's House of Representatives, and Republicans have a 6-seat advantage in the Senate.
The makeup of the legislature means we need voters to come out in huge numbers, and to vote climate up-and-down the ballot.
Andre Carroll is deeply committed to the Germantown community in northwest Philadelphia, and keenly aware of the role Big Oil plays in the lives of Pennsylvanians. If elected, he plans to work towards divesting from the fossil fuel extraction industry, and ensuring a just transition to a green energy future.
