Edward Wright has dedicated his career to improving and expanding San Francisco's public transit in direct response to the climate crisis. In his time at City Hall, he made climate action a top priority, securing $3.3 million — the largest-ever general fund investment for the Department of the Environment — to implement SF's Climate Action Plan.
As a member of BART's Board of Directors, he will work to secure the permanent, progressive funding needed for BART to continue to provide critical, climate-smart service to the thousands of low-income residents and communities of color that rely on it.
