Precious Brady-Davis was appointed the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago as commissioner in 2023, making her the first Black trans woman to serve in public office in Cook County, IL.
Now, she is running for a full term to continue her work serving the people of the Greater Chicago area. Precious is a lifelong social justice advocate and environmentalist who is committed to protecting Lake Michigan and investing in sustainable, green infrastructure.
