For all candidates, the first $3,500/$5,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate PAC will be designated for the primary election; the next $3,500/$5,000 will be designated for the general election; however, if a candidate’s primary election has already occurred, the first $3,500/$5,000 will be designated for use in the candidate’s general election.
