Residents of Jackson Heights are coming together to host an event in support of Brian Romero’s campaign for Assembly District 34 and Jessica González-Rojas’s campaign for State Senate. The event will feature local advocates and community leaders and will highlight the power of Jackson Heights residents to lift up candidates who fight for working New Yorkers and the neighborhoods that raised them.
With years of experience advocating for and passing major legislation in Albany, including universal school meals and expanded health coverage for immigrants, and with the movement behind them, including the Working Families Party, Make the Road-Action, Churches United for Fair Housing Action, Citizen Action of New York, and more, Brian and Jessica will be ready on Day 1 to bring the needs of our streets straight to the halls of power. They will fight for working New Yorkers with urgency, and a deep commitment to the communities that support them.
