Born in Kingman and raised in Phoenix, Jonathon Hill has lived, studied and worked in Tempe since 2000.
Jonathon attended ASU and earned degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Geological Sciences and Russian, culminating in the defense of his PhD in Geological Sciences in Spring 2022.
For the past 17 years, Jonathon has worked as an engineer and scientist at the ASU Mars Space Flight Facility, operating ASU's camera on NASA's Odyssey spacecraft and ASU's instruments on the Spirit and Opportunity rovers.
After completing his PhD, Jonathon looks forward to using his unique combination of engineering and science skills to address more pressing issues on his favorite planet... Earth.
