I'm a small business owner, an essential worker, an Afro-Latina woman, and I have worked from within my community through the NoHo Neighborhood Council as Treasurer and as chair of the Housing and Services Committee to build a Tenant Rights Workshop and pass Neighborhood Purpose Grants to feed our unhoused neighbors.
But our district needs more — a lot more. We need a champion to protect our tenants, immigrants, the unhoused: our neighbors.
We are running a 100% grassroots-funded campaign. We do not accept any money from fossil fuels, the real estate industry, police, or the pharmaceutical industry. It's going to take people like you to donate what they can for us to win.
The maximum individual donation for a city council campaign is $900, and any LA City residents will have their donations matched 6:1 by the city. That means $129 turns into $900!
