I have lived in District 8 for 21 years raising my family, working, and being active in the community.

My four children attended Barbieri, Woodrow Wilson, Hemenway, Walsh, Cameron, McAuliffe, and Framingham High School. I know the schools. I advocated for my children and I will advocate for

yours because they are our future.

I have served as a Town Meeting Member, on the Board of Public Works, and on the Water and Sewer Abatement Board.

I am active with community groups seeking to fulfill the mission statement of the Framingham Public Schools, including collaborations with the current Subcommittee on Racial Equity.

As your School Committee Representative I will:

• Advocate for the next new school to be built in District 8 where most of the students live (to reduce their time spent on busses).
• Steer money to programs that directly impact the students
• Continue working on issues of diversity, inclusion, and equity to foster equal education for all students
• Help the administration develop and implement strategic plans to raise our schools up from level 3
• Advocate for curriculum changes that meet present day learning needs
• Support a later start time for the high school to align with current scientific understanding of childhood developmental biology
• Recommend solar power on school roofs and green aggregation
