I do not accept donations from corporate PACs, the Fossil Fuel industry, or Real Estate Developers

My campaign is built on the idea that Cambridge doesn’t have to wait on the federal or state government to start confronting the social and political crises of our time: affordable housing, climate change, and racial, gender and economic equity. Instead, we should lead the way in tackling them and become a city that others look to as an example of what they can accomplish by acting boldly.

Cambridge can be a leader on all these issues now. We don’t have to wait for 2020, or a change of leadership at the state or federal levels, to start being the change we wish to see. But we need to not be afraid to implement bold policies. And we need candidates who aren’t afraid to run on them because they aren’t beholden to donors who care first and foremost about their own profits. That’s why I am not taking any money from corporate PACs or fossil fuel companies, in addition to turning down all contributions from real-estate developers.

Creating the kind of bold change we need in the city isn’t going to be easy. But Cambridge has always had a lot going for it.  The biggest thing we’re missing is political willSo, are you ready to help build it?
